Delicious local food awakens the senses along with beautiful surroundings, seasonal flower bouquets, and taking time to appreciate the beauty around you. Very popular for corporation spousal events as well as retreats for friends, mother and daughters, and all who seek to expand their creativity in a nourishing playful setting. Keynote slide lecture on Monet's gardens; historic photos Monet's paintings, and gorgeous photographs taken in all seasons. Personal stories of helping restore Monet’s gardens, 30 years of photography are woven with horticultural information. I will introduce you to the historical and current artists. Come to my home, the first artist colony in Monterey. Meet my favorite gallery owners, learn about collecting. Take part in a salon discussion about beauty and art with local artists while enjoying delicious local food and wine.
Watercolor & Sketching in Nature
Take time to reside in the wonder of the natural world. Sketching slows you down and invites you to really see. Both relaxing and enjoyable, be in my garden, the sea or other locations. No experience necessary, your Artist awaits you!
